What's on the water this week

29th June 2009

It’s a wonderful time of the year for sailors, and anyone who likes the water and ‘messin’ about in boats’ – it’s summertime and there’s plenty of activity on the water. All through July and August, Achill are running their Yawl Sailing Festival in a series of weekly races. Fossa RC have their Rowing Regatta in Killarney, and for athletes who like to mix it up, try the TriAthlone Trifest, Cork City Sports, the Tri to Beat Cancer Triathlon in Mullingar, and Lisnaskea's Water Festival. Truly, there’s a lot happening, and variety is the spice of life!
