ISORA to Race to the M2 Buoy

11th August 2009
ISORA to Race to the M2 Buoy

Although some of the front runners are currently engaged in the Fastnet race sailing instructions have been issued for the August 22nd Lee Overlay ISORA/Royal Alfred race from Dun Laoghaire to the M2 Weather buoy and back. Racing starts from Scotsmans bay at 100am on Saturday week but there is doubt that the M2 buoy will be on station.

Yachts must log their time of rounding all Buoys on the course and text this to the ISORA race office (00353 872545037) if they do not complete the course. To ensure compatibility, all times are to betaken using the time from the GPS system adjusted for GMT+1.

Both Gallileo (Tony Tennyson) and Paul Egan's Legally Brunette are still battling towards the Rock but will most likley be back in time for the local series.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
