Because of an incoming frontal system, deterioration in weather conditions is forecast at the entrance to the Bay of Biscay in the coming days. Transat Cafe L'Or ace management has decided to alter the Class40 course. The 42 boats in the fleet (including County Wicklow's Pamela Lee) will stop in La Coruña (Spain) to seek shelter.

A second start will then be given for this class as soon as conditions permit.

The leg rankings are calculated in real time. The overall ranking of the Transat CAFE L'OR Le Havre Normandie will be determined by the combined times of the two legs, as decided by the Jury.

The courses for the ULTIM and IMOCA boats remain unchanged.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
