The Notice of Race for the 2026 Atlantic Cup offshore series has been published by the West of Ireland Offshore Racing Association (WIORA).
The expanded five-race series will run from late June to August, linking key sailing centres along Ireland’s west coast.
Host venues and organising clubs include Foynes Yacht Club, Tralee Bay Sailing Club, Schull Harbour Sailing Club and Dingle Marina, reflecting the regional spread of the event.
This year’s programme introduces two additional races and incorporates a coastal race within the WIORA championship regatta.
Feeder races connected to both the WIORA regatta and Calves Week are also planned to broaden participation.
A dedicated south-west fleet has been added to encourage entries from sailors based along the south-west coast.
The series opens on June 27 with Race 1 from Foynes to Fenit, with an alternative start from Schull to Fenit.
The WIORA coastal race follows on July 3, before Race 3 from Fenit to Schull on July 5.
Racing resumes in August with Schull to Dingle on August 8, and concludes with Race 5 from Dingle to Kilrush or Schull on August 15.
The overall prizegiving will take place at Foynes Yacht Club on August 23.
