The DMYC has postponed Sunday’s Viking Marine Frostbite dinghy racing as conditions continue to deteriorate.

Race Officer Cormac Bradley said there was “no sign of the weather forecast improving for Sunday, 23 November”.

Westerly wnds are forecast to gust to 50 mph at noon.

“We are postponing Sunday’s racing in the hope of retaining the races at a later date,” he said. “Note we are postponing, not cancelling.”

A new date for Sunday's race will be confirmed, and the long-running, popular series continues next Sunday.
