Judy Moynihan has taken an early lead in the MBSC April Dinghy League 2026 Class 1 standings after three races. She sits first overall on 16.5 points.

Sailing a Laser II alongside Therese Loesberg, Moynihan posted consistent results despite a retirement and an officer-of-the-day duty affecting scores.

In second place, Ewen Barry and Thea Barry remain within reach on 19 points. The Fireball crew recorded two race wins but were held back by a did-not-compete result.

Third overall is Davy O'Connell in the Laser/ILCA 7 class with 24 points. A strong opening was offset by a missed race in the latest round.

Fifteen entries have competed so far under the Portsmouth Yardstick system. With no discards applied yet, all results continue to count towards the standings.

Racing is set to continue next weekend in Cork Harbour.
