The Royal Cork Yacht Club (RCYC) will host its 2026 Dinghy Frostbite Series in Cork Harbour over four racing days in November, with competition open to a range of junior and adult dinghy classes.
Racing at Crosshaven is scheduled for Sunday, November 8th, 15th and 22nd, with the final day taking place on Saturday, November 28th.
The series is open to ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 sailors, along with Topper 4.2 and 5.3, 420 and RS Feva classes.
Depending on the number of entries in each fleet, the club may use a Portsmouth Yardstick (PY) handicap format. Details will be confirmed in the Sailing Instructions ahead of the opening day.
Competitors must be members of an Irish sailing club, and a single-day entry option is available for sailors unable to attend the full series.
The first warning signal is scheduled for 11am on each racing day. A competitors' briefing will take place at 10am on Sunday, November 8th.
Visiting sailors may leave their dinghies in the RCYC dinghy park throughout the series, provided boats are clearly marked with the owner's name, club and contact number.
Entries are available through the Royal Cork Yacht Club website.
