Malahide Yacht Club marked its 67th Annual General Meeting last week, confirming a new Committee and reflecting on a successful year.
Outgoing Commodore Margaret Fay was thanked for her leadership over the past two years, with the AGM noting continued growth in participation and membership.
The meeting highlighted strong on-the-water activity and collaboration with neighbouring clubs, expanding access to sailing across north Dublin.
The club reaffirmed its role within the wider sailing community, supporting national classes and hosting events throughout the year.
New Flag Officers were confirmed. Niall Gallagher was elected Commodore, with Noel Davidson as Vice Commodore and Russell Camier as Rear Commodore.
Annual awards were presented to recognise service. Colum McCaffrey was named Club Person of the Year, David Greene received the Commodore’s Cup, and John Anglim was honoured as Volunteer of the Year.
Paul Quinn and Diarmaid O’Murchu were thanked as they retired from the Committee following years of service.
