McCrohan Grabs Second Chance at World Cup

Siobhan McCrohan grabbed her second chance with both hands as she won her repechage of the lightweight single scull at the World Cup rowing regatta in Lucerne. Atsumi Fukumoto of Japan led through the early markers but McCrohan took over after half way and guaranteed a reasonable lane draw in tomorrow’s semi-final through her win. Fukumoto, who finished third, and Ka Man Lee of Hong Kong also qualified.
