The Boat Race in London has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The rowing event was scheduled for March 29th. Two Irish rowers, Caoimhe Dempsey and Andrew Goff, have been in strong contention for places in the Cambridge women’s and men’s crews. Dempsey is ex-Trinity and Goff rowed for UCD.

The Eights Head of the River, which was set for this Saturday, March 21st, has also been cancelled. A number of strong Irish crews were entered.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
