The G1 Glenshesk, a classic racing keelboat, is up for sale at €3,500. This yacht features wood construction and was designed by Alfred Mylne.

Built by William Clapham of Bangor in 1946/7, it weighs around 3.5 tons and has an 18ft waterline.

The G1 Glenshesk is part of a well-established Glen class sailing in Dublin Bay, with its own start in Dublin Bay Sailing Club races.

There are also approximately 15 identical yachts racing in Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland.

With a large mainsail, jib, and spinnaker, the yacht can be crewed by just 2 to 4 people. These boats are renowned for their seaworthiness, according to the advertiser.

Anyone interested can arrange a viewing at Dun Laoghaire Harbour. Read the full advert here
