A 1991 Dehler 36 CWS cruiser-racer is now on the market in Crosshaven, County Cork, priced at €45,000.

Designed by Van de Stadt, “Silk Breeze” is a 36-foot light grey yacht known for its balance of comfort and performance. Powered by a 27hp Yanmar diesel engine with shaft drive, the boat cruises comfortably at 6 knots, reaching top speeds of 7 knots.

The layout includes a forward cabin with a double berth, an aft cabin to starboard, a heads compartment to port, and a saloon table that converts to a double berth. The galley is fully equipped with a two-burner cooker, oven, fridge, twin sinks, hot water, and generous storage.

“She is well maintained and easy to sail short-handed,” said a broker at Crosshaven Boatyard.

Inventory highlights include wheel steering, a sprayhood, chartplotter, hot water system, cockpit cushions, and a Raymarine C70 chartplotter. Sails comprise two North jibs (Dacron and 3DL), a Dacron main, and an asymmetric spinnaker, all in very good condition. The rig is a deck-stepped fractional configuration with a Selden Furlex system.

The GRP hull and deck are copper-coated (2018) and feature a fin keel with a spade rudder.

On deck, the vessel offers stainless steel safety rails, a Danforth anchor, Harken fittings, self-tailing winches, and an electric central winch system. Safety gear includes a swim platform and ladder, an emergency tiller, and two manual bilge pumps. Electrical systems include shore power, a battery charger, and three batteries.
