Boat Show 2008 - Sea Ray in dollars

29th November -0001
In an innovative move, Irish Sea Ray agent BJ Marine has begun pricing its Sea Ray stock in dollars. It’s to prove transparency on price, according to managing director Bernard Gallagher, who promises to sell in dollars if customers want it.
The European-designed Sea Ray 375 Flybridge may well be the start of the American line-up because of its roomy cockpit layout including wrap-around seating, two bucket seats at the helm, plus a port side bucket seat and lots of storage. But it’s the sheer range of ‘extras’ that come as standard that mark it out from the crowd at a price of $431,000 ex-VAT. The massive control station includes a full set of SmartCraft® diagnostic instruments, illuminated weather proof electronic switches and VHF radio. Powered by your choice of sterndrive or inboard propulsion, this magnificent cruiser features dual bucket helm seats, extra large control station, cockpit wet bar, sound system, wide open cabin, and flat screen TV.

We've got a favour to ask

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven’t put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

Afloat.ie is Ireland's only full–time marine journalism team and it takes time, money and hard work to produce our content.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
