Grand Canal and the Grand Canal Basin at Ringsend at hosting the swimming competition for the Focus Ireland Triathlon on Sunday August 2 from 0900 hrs to 1330 hrs, so users and masters are requested to note any instructions issued by Waterways Ireland staff and any advice offered by safety boat marshals accompanying the swimmers. Vessels should proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash at all times when navigating in this area (Marine Notice No 81 of 2009).
