Dun Laoghaire marine firm opens Solent showroom

24th October 2008

At a time when most marine leisure companies are scaling back , Dun Laoghaire's MGM Boats are meeting the economic challenges head on.

This afternoon, the company has announced it has secured the distributorship for Aquador Boats for the United Kingdom. The company has distributed the brand in Ireland for the past ten years.

The relationship with the Finnish manufacturer goes back to 1997 when the Factory set up business in Cork. Since then MGM has sold 240 Aquador, making it one of the most popular craft ever sold here.

Now MGM are opening a Solent showrooms and a brokerage division will operate there in the next two months.

The Dun Laoghaire company has also secured a stand in Excel and will exhibit the Aquador product at the London boat show in January. Now there's confidence!
