Welsh clubs participating are Pwllheli SC and South Caernarvonshire YC, Holy Loch SC, Clyde CC Helensburgh SC from Scotland. English entries are in from Royal Ocean Racing Club, Royal Western SC, Whitby and Liverpool YC , the latter sending a nine boat fleet to the event. Royal Cork has a show of strength with some of its Commodores cup stars returning: Antony O’Leary Antix Dubh and Blondie skippered by Eamonn Rohan among the entries from Cork – so all classes are shaping up nicely with entries in from 21 of the 25 stated classes.
Irish clubs entered to date hail from Arklow SC, Bray SC, Carlingford Lough YC, Carlingford SC, Royal Cork YC, Skerries SC, Poolbeg Yacht & Boat Club Sutton Dinghy Club, Malahide YC, Howth YC, Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club, Bray SC, Wicklow SC, Skerries SC and the four water front clubs in Dun Laoghaire; National, Royal St. George, Royal Irish and Motor Yacht clubs
