Dufour Yachts has released the first press images of its new Dufour 48 in the waters of Mallorca, ahead of its world premiere in Cannes alongside the Dufour 54 this September.

Representing the “next generation” of Dufour yachts, the Dufour 48 is all about space and versatility, with the company highlighting the yacht’s ‘Sky Lounge’ deck concept, outdoor kitchen and beach platform, and front galley or long galley configurations.

The Dufour 48 is also available in an ODSEA+ version, a hybrid system combining heat engine propulsion with sails, solar and hydroelectric generation.

"I had the pleasure of viewing this stunning new Dufour 48 in Palma recently,” says Hugh Mockler of Irish agents Crosshaven Boatyard. “She has really powerful-looking lines and like the rest of the Dufour range, could be described as an easy to manage big volume cruising yacht with plenty of performance and oodles of light coming in via her deck ports and opening hatches.

“Her cockpit layout is excellent and includes twin cockpit tables, better BBQ set up and larger swim platform. She really is a stunner and if you would like more information, please send an email to [email protected].
