Sea-Changers has launched a search for its first Executive Director.

The move marks a shift from a volunteer-led structure to a more sustainable organisation with a dedicated staff team. The charity said the role comes at a “key point” in its development. It is seeking a candidate with leadership, fundraising and networking experience to guide its next phase.

Sea-Changers supports community-led projects aimed at improving the UK’s marine environment. The new Executive Director will be tasked with building partnerships, engaging stakeholders and supporting volunteers.

The organisation said the role offers “a chance to build on our success to date” and to deliver long-term impact for marine conservation.

Applications are open until the end of April. Further details are available via the charity.
