Quality & Risk Management Systems Officer in the Irish Coast Guard, Department of Transport

The Irish Coast Guard (IRCG) is a Division of the Department of Transport. Its mission is to deliver a world class search and rescue, maritime casualty, and pollution response service.

A vacancy now exists for a Quality & Risk Management Systems Officer in the Safety and Quality Compliance Section of the IRCG. This section is responsible for integrating all IRCG processes into a single management system. It provides operational consistency and assurance to the IRCG and its stakeholders, that the organisation is being managed in accordance with the IRCG’s Safety Statement.

Reporting to the Head of the Section, the Quality & Risk Management Systems Officer will have responsibility for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), Risk Management and Assurance Audit processes of the IRCG. In addition, they will work with the Safety & Quality Compliance team to develop and expand the IRCG management systems, risk management processes and assurance audits.
