I hope everyone is looking forward to their winter sailing!

After the hecticness of the "treble" in Dun Laoghaire in late August / early September, I spent a week in Seattle working with North U at a J80 performance race clinic and then fitting sails in Bantry. Shane raced in the Cape 31's on Darren Wright's "Adrenalin" in Cowes and also raced J70's in Monaco. Nigel is currently at the Swan 36 Worlds. It never stops..........

It's been a fantastic two months here in North Sails Ireland. Our seasonal pricing offers have been well received and our design and manufacturing teams are getting stuck in!

I also had a trip up to beautiful Strangford Lough to measure up for new cruising sails a fortnight ago. See pic below overlooking this majestic spot....

As always with North Sails, we are pushing the design & materials boundaries all the time. The America's Cup just concluded in Barcelona with every team using 100% North Sails 3Di sails. Congratulations to Emirate Team NZ on their "three-peat" over INEOS team Britannia.

Our new Aerotech spinnaker fabrics were launched a few weeks ago and we already have an Aerotech A3 reaching kite on order for 2025 for a Dublin Bay customer.

We are in the last week of our winter pricing promotion. So, if you are in the market for a new cruising or racing sail at a great price, then please get in touch with us. Now really is the best time price-wise..........

We have sail options to suit all sizes of boat and all budgets.

Sail FASTer for longer...

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven't put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

Afloat.ie is Ireland's only full-time marine journalism team and it takes time, money and hard work to produce our content.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
