The Barcelona International Boat Show will return to Port Vell from 14 to 18 October, showcasing its largest-ever fleet and expanded visitor offering. Organised by Fira de Barcelona with the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), the event aims to bring together leading national and international marine brands.

The 2026 edition will feature a wide range of vessels, from sports boats to motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans of all sizes. The show will span three piers at Port Vell, with displays organised by vessel type. Moll de la Fusta will host motor yachts and equipment, while España and Marina Port Vell will focus on sailing boats and catamarans.

A new on-water testing zone will allow visitors to trial boats at sea. Organisers say this will offer “a more direct, realistic and purchase-oriented experience”.

Event president Luis Conde said the show remains “an essential meeting point to bring together companies and buyers”.

Jordi Carrasco added that the event is expected to “boost business, generate opportunities and strengthen the positioning of recreational boating”. Event director Josep Antoni Llopart said the show continues to evolve with “new itineraries and tailored experiences”.

New themed areas will debut in 2026, including Marinas & Harbour Facilities and Diving, Shopping & Water Sports, which will be housed in a new covered pavilion on Moll de la Fusta.

Organisers said the additions are designed to broaden the show’s appeal and reflect growth in nautical leisure activities. A professional programme focused on innovation and sustainability will also run alongside the exhibition.
