Henri-Lloyd has relaunched one of its most iconic marine garments—the Consort Jacket—originally worn by Sir Francis Chichester during his historic 1966–67 solo circumnavigation. The new Consort Round the World Race Jacket is a modern reimagining, designed for all-weather performance and sustainability.
Engineered with a waterproof and windproof 2-layer shell, the jacket includes a breathable integrated membrane, fully seam-taped for maximum protection. It comes in three colours: Navy, Light Olive, and Washed Yellow.
Notable features include an insulated collar, removable hood, adjustable cuffs, and practical hand-warming and internal pockets. The sleeve bears original Henri-Lloyd Round the World Race embroidery, honouring the jacket’s heritage.
The Consort RWR Jacket is rated to withstand 10,000mm of water pressure and offers a breathability rating of 3,000mm, ensuring comfort in prolonged wear. Insulation is provided by 250g of REPREVE® loose-fill, made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Reflective detailing, a two-way YKK zip, and a buttoned storm flap add to its safety and durability.
The jacket is available in sizes Small to 2XL through selected retailers.
