In the light of the new July ruling's about face coverings, Piet Poelmann, CEO of Zhik, the Australian marine clothing brand, has introduced a new face mask that is weatherproof, washable and comfortable. It is not just another face mask. Zhik’s industrial design team has thought this through, like with so many of the other ingenious products Zhik prides itself with. Now that COVID-19 restrictions have eased and it is safe to go back on the water again, it has proven to be a great product. Poelmann has tested it himself.

It is also a popular product for off the water, as so many sports and activities require you to wear a face mask, while social distancing during exercise.

The face mask is of non-medical grade and made of Polyurethane. The foam feels comfortable on the skin and is quick drying. For high activity, the mask features a regulating one-way valve to breathe out easily. In case of an emergency, the mask can be removed quickly with one hand.
