#portperspectives - While taking a stroll along the Great South Wall was Neil Carroll and Marysia Wieckiewicz-Carroll (pictured above) who happened upon the 'Projection Support Structure' by Fiona McDonald.

The structure forms part of the final installation of Dublin Port Company’s arts commissioning series Port Perspectives: Port | River | City for more info on events visit: www.portrivercity.ie/

In addition to McDonald, the artists also involved in the project are: Cliona Harmey, Dan Shipsides, Pat Collins, Sharon Woolley and PV. Garrett in a site specific moving image installation.

Port | River | City includes a half day event in the Irish Film Institute (IFI) this Saturday 23rd September, where the city centre venue is to feature a rare screening of Peter Hutton’s 'Time in Tide' in 16mm.

Afloat adds that the IFI opened its doors to the public 25 years ago in Temple Bar.  Further details about the screening will appear here on Afloat before the event takes place.
