#dublinbay - The Vikings are to invade Dun Laoghaire Harbour as part of the Bicentenary celebrations.

The pretty angry group of Nordic seafarers are to be welcomed to the 200 year old harbour next Sunday 20th August. The invasion takes place on the East Pier and is open to the public to view this exciting event.

A Viking camp will be open to the public on the East Pier from 12noon to 17:00 on Sunday 20th August. This is a chance to see replica Viking longboats, a Viking camp and to meet the Vikings themselves.

This is a special opportunity for Vikings fans to witness a Viking invasion re-enactment with two 36ft Viking longboats attacking the East Pier.
