McWilliam Bags are handmade near Crosshaven in Co Cork

McWilliam Bags is shortlisted in the Accessories category in Irish Country Magazine’s Irish Made Awards.

The winners are chosen by the public in an online vote which closes this Thursday 12 September.

And the awards will be presented in a ceremony at Killashee Hotel in Co Kildare on Friday 4 October.

McWilliam Bags was recently named as official kit bag supplier to the Irish Sailing Team — appropriate for a brand that’s earned its reputation by living up to its promise in the most challenging of conditions.

Each iconic, stylish and durable McWilliam bag is handmade, to the same exacting standards, near Crosshaven in Co Cork. The brand is also deeply aligned with sailing, having its roots in sailmaking.

As with all things in sailing; the secrets will be closely guarded - but for the first time in decades Irish sailors will be at the forefront of sail technology development.

Although much has changed; some constants remain. The same great sail and customer service we have provided in the past will continue, as does our commitment and passion for growing the sport of sailing all over the country.
