MGM Boats has launched a new Brokerage service on the opening day of the 2026 Düsseldorf Boat Show. The stand in Hall 5 of Europe's largest boat show is the only Irish and UK brokerage presence at the event.
The service aims to improve how boats are sold in Ireland’s east coast market. “We decided to create a new level of service to boat owners wishing to sell,” said Managing Director Gerry Salmon.
MGM Boats says it draws on 27 years of experience and on its boat yard facilities. The company will offer a free lift, wash and hull inspection to sellers.
Sellers also get access to in‑house engineers and skilled yard staff to assist with survey and sale preparation. MGM Boats says the package includes survey support and title transfer logistics.
“MGM Boats are dedicated to enhancing our brokerage offering to local clients,” Salmon said. It also highlighted full access to its 50 Ton travel hoist.
“By delivering these services to the clients we can ensure a seamless process in selling your boat,” the firm said. The company said selling a boat “is not just an online exercise”.
“It requires a number of factors from start to finish which simply are not being offered by other brokers,” it added. MGM Boats described its aim as a “one stop shop” for sellers and buyers.
