Afloat.ie: Bear Grylls to Open RIBEX 2010

Plans are moving ahead for a truly first class show next May. It is now confirmed that the Suzuki Sponsored RIBEX 2010 powerboat exhibition is to be opened by extreme survivalist and TV personality, Bear Grylls. At this present time, Bear is involved in preparing for a major RIB expedition through the  North West Passage. The expedition is due to take place in the autumn of 2010 and the craft itself shall be displayed at RIBEX 2010 as a special exhibit within the Tented Village zone of the show.

Other news includes the brand new feature, RIBFEST, a superb waterside music concert featuring a stunning line-up of 3 bands including the chart-topping headline act, Seth Lakeman, (see www.sethlakeman.co.uk)  It is now confirmed that Coastline RIBs are to be the official sponsor of this complimentary RIBEX event which is to be held on the Saturday evening of the 3 day show. Coastline RIBs are undertaking an exciting re-launch of their brand which is now operating with new owners ‘at the helm’ who are currently developing the range and re-styling the models of this make of classic British RIB.

RIB Exhibitions is now taking bookings for the 2010 show, both in key areas of the Tented Village and within the Event Marina itself, these include overseas companies seeking to build their profile within the European RIB market.  If you wish your company to benefit from a having a presence at the Suzuki sponsored 2010 show, please be aware that the last two years of the Cowes, Isle Of Wight based show, have seen the exhibition sell out several weeks before show time.  It is important therefore that all applications to exhibit are received as soon as possible in order to ensure both favoured position and space are available.
