The Marine Ireland Industry Network which represents and promotes interests of members working in Ireland's blue economy is tomorrow (Thursday) to hold an online event featuring case studies from three MIIN companies and much more.

The trio of companies are XOCEAN, Green Rebel Marine and Bio-Marine Ingredients. In addition to showcasing sector insights on offshore wind, aquaculture, and ports & shipping.

The event will also provide an opportunity to demonstrate Marine Ireland Industry Network's newly launched website as Afloat previously highlighted.

Tomorrow morning's event (11:00am-12:30pm) is supported by the Marine Institute and Enterprise Ireland.

MIIN provides a key collaboration resource for Irish companies in the Marine sector, facilitating not just inter-company engagement, but also providing a one stop shop for external buyers to get a view of Irish Marine industry capability.

We've got a favour to ask

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven’t put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

Afloat.ie is Ireland's only full–time marine journalism team and it takes time, money and hard work to produce our content.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
