Oireachtas Committee To Resume Discussions on Aquaculture and Water Quality

Shell Talk — Members of the Joint Committee on Fisheries and Maritime Affairs meet in Leinster House to hear evidence from aquaculture stakeholders on water quality and the future development of Ireland’s shellfish sector.

The Joint Committee on Fisheries and Maritime Affairs is to resume discussions on aquaculture and water quality with stakeholders on Tuesday (June 23).

The meeting at 11am in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House will hear from representatives from IFA Aquaculture and Bia Mara (Déise) Teo/Waterford Oysters.

The Joint Committee on Fisheries and Maritime Affairs chaired by Sinn Fein TD Conor McGuinness has 14 members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
