World Cruising Club has announced a new cruising rally for 2026 — ARC Baltic.

Open to sail and motor yachts, the 28-day event will begin in Kiel, Germany, on 3 July and cover almost 1,000 nautical miles. The itinerary includes stops in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, and Finland.

The fleet, limited to 25 boats between 8.23m and 15.24m, will visit Stralsund, Bornholm, Gotland, Tallinn, Helsinki, the Åland Islands, and the Stockholm archipelago, ending in Bullandö, Sweden, on 31 July.

The rally’s longest leg, from Bornholm to Gotland, is 200 nautical miles. Larger yachts and multihulls may join if space allows.

“Sailing in the Baltic Sea offers an unforgettable blend of adventure, culture, and natural beauty,” said World Cruising Club Managing Director Paul Tetlow. He described the region as ideal for both experienced cruisers and those building offshore sailing skills.

The rally will be supported by an experienced local team, with social events and tours arranged in each port. Highlights include navigating the 50,000 islands of the Swedish and Finnish archipelagos and sailing into capital cities.
