A fully revised second edition of Cape Horn and Antarctic Waters: A Cruising Guide has been released, offering updated information for adventurous sailors.

Written by experienced bluewater cruisers Tom and Vicky Jackson, the guide provides expert insight into one of the world's most remote and challenging sailing regions.

From Cape Horn’s treacherous coastlines to the icy reaches of the Antarctic Peninsula, the book covers key locations including Chile, the Beagle Channel, the Falkland Islands and Antarctica. Originally inspired by broadcaster Paul Heiney’s voyage to the area, the guide combines first-hand experience with practical advice for navigating the region.

It features clearly marked passages, anchorages and harbour details, supported by Imray sketch plans and strategies drawn from a network of seasoned sailors.

“This handbook is for those who want to explore some of the world’s most demanding waters with confidence,” said co-author Tom Jackson. Imray publishes the updated edition, and it is available now for sailors planning high-latitude voyages.
