After its launch on Sunday evening, Cork Week 2026 Regatta opened at Royal Cork Yacht Club on Monday with early leaders emerging across the main IRC, Coastal, Non-Spinnaker and Sportsboat fleets.

According to Principal Race Officer Con Murphy, competitors on the windward-leeward course enjoyed ideal opening-day conditions for Cork Week 2026.
