The Irish Sailing League 2026 event in Dún Laoghaire has been cancelled due to insufficient entries.
Organisers confirmed the decision ahead of this weekend’s scheduled racing, citing a lack of entries submitted in time.
As Afloat reported previously, the league made a strong debut in 2024 but its second edition was also cancelled in 2025.
The 2025 instalment had been set for May 10–11, but did not proceed for the same reason.
The cancellation is a setback for organisers who had invested significant effort in planning the event.
