Arca Sgr, skippered by the Fast and Furio Sailing Team, has clinched victory in Sunday's (October 12th) 57th Barcolana regatta.

The Trieste-based event saw Arca Sgr cross the finish line first, completing the course in 1 hour, 43 minutes, and 42 seconds.

The yacht sailed at an average speed of 12 knots, racing upwind in light wind conditions.

A total of 1,865 boats took part in the iconic Mediterranean regatta, with more than 15,000 sailors and spectators at sea.

As Afloat reported earlier, Barcolana remains one of the world’s largest sailing races, attracting a diverse fleet and global attention every October in the Gulf of Trieste.
