Two wins on day two in class two for the Half Tonner 2 Farr (Boardman, Kelly and O'Leary) puts the Rush/Crosshaven crew three points shy of the top of the Maples Group RORC IRC European Championships off Dun Laoghaire leaderboard held by rival sistership Swuzzlebubble (James Dwyer).
Lighter conditions than Thursday day saw a delayed start to proceedings on the Dublin Bay but no further drama that saw the British Half Tonner Head Hunter withdraw after a first race dismasting on day one.
Lying third overall is Colin Kavanagh's J97, Jeneral Lee from Howth Yacht Club.
Saturday Prospects
The forecasts are suggesting fresh, possibly strong south to southwest winds for tomorrow (Saturday), but with 2024's often unstable winds and weather, the addition of the Dublin Bay Effect makes it anybody's guess.
Racing continues in the nine-race Royal Irish Yacht Club hosted championships on Saturday and concludes on Sunday.
