#rounstoneregatta – Up to 15 Galway Hookers with distrinctive rusty coloured sails gathered for the two day Roundstone Regatta and festival that took place off the County Galway coasts in a mix of conditions over the weekend. Among the fleet rafted up at the Connemara pier were the Hookers Mac Duach, An Tonai and Morning Star. The regatta is one of the longest running maritime festivals in the west of Ireland and features racing around Bertraghboy Bay for both the traditional sailing hookers and rowing currachs.
