The Richard Mille Fife Regatta will return to Scotland’s Clyde coast from 4-12 June 2026. First held in 1998, the event brings together classic Fife-designed yachts to race on their original home waters around the west coast of Scotland.

A total of 23 Fife yachts have entered the regatta. Racing will begin from Largs before the fleet visits Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, passes through the Kyles of Bute and heads to Portavadie on Loch Fyne before returning to Largs.

The regatta is centred around the historic Fairlie boatyard where three generations of the Fife family built some of the world’s most admired classic yachts. Recognisable by the dragon carving on their bows, Fife yachts remain highly sought after by sailors, collectors and restorers worldwide.

Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille has renewed its title sponsorship following its support of the event in 2022.

Organisers say the regatta celebrates Scotland’s maritime heritage, as well as the craftsmanship and enduring appeal of Clyde-built yachts.

Fiona Houston, Regatta Director, said the event remains deeply connected to the local community. “The story of the Fife yard and the yachts it built is part of the story of Fairlie, where I grew up and live,” she said. “To have them return to the Clyde and to share their history with their owners and crew is wonderful. They are beautiful wherever they travel in the world but never more so than in their home waters.”

The regatta is expected to attract owners, crews and visitors from around the world to the Clyde for a week of racing and shore events.
