Pata Negra will be presented with the Wolf’s Head Trophy when the Irish Sea Offshore Racing Association (ISORA) gathers for its Annual Dinner and Prize-Giving at the National Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire, on Saturday, 8 November 2025.

The sell-out night is one of the largest events of its kind on the Dun Laoghaire waterfront.

Andrew and Sam Hall’s Lombard 46, racing for Pwllheli Sailing Club, claimed the 2025 Musto ISORA Series after topping the 36–boat fleet on 645.9 points. The victory followed a blustery season finale, a crossing from Pwllheli to the Kish lighthouse in 30 knots of wind.

Second overall was the J122 Aurelia of Chris and Patanne Power Smith (Royal St George YC) on 624.3 points. Third was another J122, Mojito, co-skippered by Peter Dunlop and Victoria Cox (Pwllheli SC) with 596.8 points.

Fourth overall, and winner of Class 2, was Indian, Simon Knowles’ J109 from Howth Yacht Club. In fifth, Alan Hannon’s JPK 1030 Coquine, racing for RORC, secured the Class 1 title.

The last race winner, ReQuest (National YC), finished sixth, with Darling XX (CHPSC) in seventh, Rockabill VI (RIYC) eighth, Elixir ninth, and Andromeda (Pwllheli SC) tenth.

Sixteen races were sailed across the season under the High Points CHIPS 3 system, with ten discards applied. “Consistency was key across a long season of challenging conditions,” said race organiser Peter Ryan.

All class and overall winners will be honoured at the black tie gala. The evening will include a bar reception, dinner with wine, Jack Ryan Whiskey, photography, and live music from Dead Ringers.

Tickets for the event are €95 per person.
