Mark O’Connor Returns to France After Successful Dun Laoghaire Tour

Mark O’Connor has returned to France following a successful publicity tour at Dun Laoghaire Harbour. He visited to promote his Mini Transat campaign and engage with sponsors and supporters.

During his 10-day stay, O’Connor provided guided tours of his Mini 6.50 boat, attracting interest from the local sailing community. "It was great to get such a warm welcome back to my home port," he said.

He also participated in the "Darkness into Light" event last Saturday morning. O’Connor hosted a fundraising evening at the National Yacht Club, thanking attendees for their support.

His next challenges include a solo 200-mile race, the Trophée MAP, in Dournanez, followed by the Mini Fastnet Race on 5th June. O'Connor is currently sailing back to Lorient, a journey of 400 miles.
