Tralee Bay Sailing Club will celebrate its 70th anniversary by hosting the 2026 WIORA West Coast Championship. The event, running from 1–4 July, also marks the 50th anniversary of the West of Ireland Offshore Racing Association.
Racing will take place in Tralee Bay under Principal Race Officer John Leech. The club has opened entries, with the first already received. A large fleet is expected. “There’s interest from Cork and Dublin, as well as the usual West Coast crews,” organisers told Afloat.
