Allegro, sailed by Colm Dunne and Rob Gill won races two and three in the first day of racing in the Kinsale Yacht Club Squib Frostbite Series

The Kinsale Yacht Club Custom Rigging Frostbite Series officially began on Sunday, February 2nd, after a week’s delay due to poor weather

Twelve Squibs launched into Kinsale Harbour waters, delivering an ideal day for racing.

In a strong start, Atomic, helmed by Ian Travers and Keith O’Riordan, claimed victory in Race 1, while Allegro, sailed by Colm Dunne and Rob Gill, secured second place.

However, Allegro quickly regained its momentum, winning Races 2 and 3 and taking an early lead in the series. Currently, Atomic holds second place overall, with Banshee, sailed by Brian and Alex Goggin, in third.
