The 2026 summer season of Dublin Bay Sailing Club (DBSC) got underway on Thursday evening (April 23rd) in bright conditions.
Light winds across Dublin Bay forced race organisers to shorten courses for the opening races.
Only Cruisers 0 and Cruisers 1 secured finishes, both on a much-shortened course at the second mark.
IRC
In Cruisers 1 IRC, Riders on the Storm (Bobby Kerr) took the win ahead of Raptor, with White Mischief third.
In Cruisers 0 IRC, Aurelia leads Wow (Tim Kane), with Prima Forte third.
As Afloat reported previously, ORC Ireland has introduced a new initiative for 2026.
The move sees the rating body publish results for participating cruiser classes racing in the DBSC series.
