Howth Yacht Club crews delivered a series of standout performances at the National Yacht Club Regatta on Dublin Bay, claiming victories across several classes in a fleet of around 160 boats.
Michael and Richard Evans' J/112E The Big Picture dominated Cruiser 0 IRC. The Howth yacht won both races in the six-boat fleet to secure overall victory with comfortable corrected-time margins.
In Cruiser 1, Simon Knowles' J/109 Indian was a consistent frontrunner. Indian finished third overall in IRC and topped the Echo standings with a first- and second-place scoreline.

Howth boats were also prominent in Cruiser 2, where Stephen Quinn's Lambay Rules, Colin and Kathy Kavanagh's Jeneral Lee, and Ian Martin and Stephen Mullaney's Insider Again all featured strongly.

The opening race produced a clean sweep for the Howth contingent, with Jeneral Lee leading home Insider Again and Lambay Rules. Race two saw a close contest between Jeneral Lee and Insider Again. Insider Again edged ahead to take the race win and secure overall victory on countback. The result marked an encouraging start for the Insider Again crew, who recently acquired the J/92 and completed an extensive refit.

Another Howth success came from Chronos, helmed by Declan Byrne. The recently restored Quarter Tonner won the Echo division on countback following a close battle with Imprint. Chronos also completed a clean sweep of the IRC division with two race wins.
The performances continue a strong season for Howth Yacht Club's cruiser-racing fleet as crews turn their attention to the Women at the Helm Regatta at Howth Yacht Club on 3 July.
