Racing on day two of the Laser Frostbite League at Monkstown Bay Sailing Club was cancelled on Saturday, January 10th.

The Cork Harbour course was left idle due to a lack of wind.

The winter series had opened a week earlier on Saturday, January 3rd.

An unusually early start did little to deter competitors.

Thirteen boats came to the line on a crisp winter morning. The turnout continued the momentum from the previous week’s St Stephen’s Day race.

Organisers said conditions on day one allowed fair racing despite the season. Sailors now await the next scheduled outing, weather permitting.
