With Storm Boelo threatening further disruption to weekend sailing in Cork Harbour, Royal Cork Yacht Club has put back the first gun for Sunday's (25 October) final day of its 2026 Autumn League until 11.55am.
The revised start is an hour later than the originally scheduled 10.55am first gun. It comes amid weather-related disruption to sailing in Cork Harbour, with Saturday's October League racing at Monkstown Bay Sailing Club cancelled because of bad weather. Royal Cork has not specified the reason for its change.
Final Day of Autumn Racing
The Autumn League opened with 41 boats across 15 classifications in September and has since raced both inside and outside Cork Harbour.
Going into the final day, Finbarr and Colm O'Regan's Kinsale Yacht Club J109 Artful Dodger has been among the leading performers, extending its lead with two more wins last Sunday.
Sunday's racing is scheduled to conclude the annual keelboat series, subject to conditions.
