Cruising under sail moves at its own rhythm and scale, and voyaging even more so. Particularly when that voyaging involves high latitude sailing. This Autumn has seen the return of Nick Kats to Clifden in West Connemara with his 39ft ketch Teddy, after two very eventful seasons with the boat continuously in Icelandic waters.
Regular visitors to Afloat.ie will be well aware of the many twists and turns that befell this determined team. For now, it is sufficient to say that Teddy and her skipper are in a widely-acknowledged league of their own, and richly deserving of special praise.
