The battle for honours at the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta remains finely balanced heading into the final day of racing in Porto Cervo. Light south-easterly winds greeted competitors on day three before shifting north-east during the afternoon, creating tactical challenges across the fleet.

Racing got underway shortly after 1.40pm on an 11-mile coastal course around the waters of Caprera, passing through the Passo delle Bisce and the Gulf of Saline.

In the Blue Division, Inoui, the Briand 108 owned by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda member Marco Vogele, claimed victory with Gavin Brady calling tactics. Moat crossed the line among the leading yachts but was penalised following a protest and finished second on corrected time. Despite the setback, Moat retains the overall lead in the Blue Division with one race remaining.

The 39-metre Tripp yacht Cervo shared second place in the day's standings.

In the White Division, Liberty Squared secured a second consecutive race win. The Southern Wind 96 now leads the overall standings ahead of the Dubois 100 Nostromo and the Southern Wind 94 Magic Blue. Magic Blue is owned by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda member Tonino Cacace and is racing with two-time Olympic gold medallist Luis Doreste as tactician.

Nostromo continues to lead the Corinthian standings, reserved for yachts carrying a limited sail inventory. The yacht is guided by Jesper Bank, the multiple Olympic medallist and former America's Cup helmsman.

Magic Blue and Sørvind by Giorgio Armani occupy second and third places, respectively, in the Corinthian rankings. Liberty Squared also heads the Southern Wind Trophy standings. Gelliceaux and Kalantis, both Southern Wind 108s, remain locked in a close battle for second place, separated by just one point.

The final day of racing is expected to be sailed in similarly light conditions before the regatta concludes with the prize-giving ceremony in Piazza Azzurra at Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.
