The Castlehaven and Myross History Society in West Cork invites the public to a captivating talk on the WWII U-260 submarine wreck.

Brendan Cahill, a former sea wreck diver, will present stunning visuals from his dives and share his extensive research on the elusive submarine, which sank on 12th March 1945 without explanation.

Situated 3.2 nautical miles south of Glandore Harbour, West Cork the U-260 rests at a depth of 44 metres, marking the limit of sports diving.

The Society says this engaging presentation is an excellent opportunity for history enthusiasts and anyone curious about maritime mysteries.

Join Castlehaven & Myross History Society on Wednesday, 12th February, at 7:30 p.m. in Cnoc Buí, Union Hall, P81 X274. Admission is free for Society members and €5 for non-members. Light refreshments will be provided.
