#ROWING: Síobhán McCrohan has been chosen to compete for Ireland at the Memorial Paolo d’Aloja regatta in Piediluco in Italy in April. The Galway woman won the women’s lightweight single sculls trial today at the National Rowing Centre in Cork. Sinéad Jennings did not trial because of her ongoing rib injury, and Emma Desmond also pulled out because of injury. A number of crews nominated in Olympic-class boats will be speed tested on Sunday.
